Wild is an evolution of Dsquared2’s olfactory journey inspired by and founded in the elements of nature. Building on a pathway forged by debut scent He Wood and follow up Potion, Wild is a new fragrance chapter for Dsquared2 that explores man’s desires and his connection to the
natural and urban world that surrounds him. This enigmatic and covetable concept is also at the heart of Dsquared2’s DNA: the freedom for a man to express his sensuality and his deepest desires. Wild materializes Dsquared2’s passion for the avant-garde and unorthodox approach to fashion.
Contemporary and self-sufficient, this man works and plays within the paradigms of modern life and urban society. Yet his daily existence is attuned to a faintly audible thrum of rebellion that comes from deep within. Driving him to seek his own liberty, he is drawn to its magnetic pull,
taking him to a place where, finally, he is free.
“For us fragrance has an emotional connection to who we are, it uncovers a long-held desire or dream, which is why the concept of Wild has such an intrinsic link to us and the ideology of Dsquared2. The ultimate authentic expression of self is to live with complete freedom of speech and mind - we are fascinated with this concept especially in today’s society,” Dean and Dan Caten, Dsquared2.

DSQUARED2 WOMENSWEAR SPRING SUMMER 2015 18.09.2014
Dsquared2 turn up the volume on shapes, form, color and proportion for the women’s spring summer 2015 collection. Materializing the medium of the artist – sculpture, clay or canvas is transposed into silhouette, fabric and color. Every piece is infused with volume. Each unique print is inspired by an iconic art style. Color blocking, gigantic circles printed on raffia silk and Aztec style graphic patterns embolden the lavish silhouettes.
Coats, pants and skirts have sculpture like forms, curved and roomy that twist gently around the body. The slouchy pantsuit, in a cool silk cotton crepe, shows a relaxed leg and a boxy jacket. T-shirts are cropped double-faced cotton poplin. Laser-cut color-blocked leather polo shirts and shorts amp up the freshness with electric tones of blue, yellow and hot pink.
Couture sensibilities exalt sporty pieces. Lustrous silk cotton double is cut into a billowing floor length skirt. Rich allover beadwork encrusts a voluminous gray hooded sweatshirt. Layers of soft, frothy feathers embellish skirts, bags and crop tops. Plisse ruches are punchy shape changers on short tunics and long skirts.
Masculine accents give this colorful lineup a tomboy edge. Signature Dsquared2 black rimmed eyeglasses, slouchy jeans and men’s underwear temper the full feminine looks.
Denim, Dsquared2’s DNA, is stained, destroyed and wired to showcase their generous forms. Cropped and oversized boyfriend jeans are mixed in with the fresh styles.
Twin Peaks, Dsquared2’s new signature bag, reveals its dual design with a removable clutch shape within a tote.
The bag makes its debut on the runway in oversized rectangular and squared off smaller forms in suede, crocodile and velvety nubuck leathers. Cage shoes with spike stiletto heels or transparent wedges come in color blocked and metallic shades, the latticed leatherwork reaching over the knees in a pair of thigh high boots.
